View from the room and the vicinity to Italy (10 minutes walk to the borders and 20 to nice little restaurants and gelaterie).

The people working there are very nice, but the first impression a guest gets is not very positive. They should also make sure that someone from the reception is available 24h. Or at least announce to the guests how to get in the hotel, if the reception is closed and noone is around.

Great location on the shore of Lake Lugano, excellent food (both breakfast and dinner), very nice view from the restaurant terrace, friendly and helpful staff.
